Have you ever had the feeling that you're moving but not getting anywhere?
You feel empty on the inside, but you smile at people when you wake up and go to work or college. You're disengaged—from your purpose—not because you're incompetent or lazy.
I am quite familiar with that feeling.
I used to be just existing. I had a job, responsibilities, and qualifications, but I lacked a spark. Everything changed at that point.
🌱The day I realized I was lost
I worked as an assistant professor before I started CAPKUL and became an author. It appeared to be all right from the outside. But I sensed emptiness inside. I understood that I wasn't changing; I was just teaching.
I wasn't fulfilling my purpose in life.
All I was doing was getting by.
I asked myself a straightforward yet profound question one evening:
"Will I still be happy with this life in ten years if nothing changes?"
It was a painful no.
That experience served as the inspiration for True Spark, a book I wrote for those who experience the same emotions as I did: aimlessness, exhaustion, and stuckness.
🔥Breaking Down Is the First Step to Discovering Your Spark:
You don't have to know every answer.
However, you have to be brave enough to acknowledge that you're lost.
Only then will you be able to:
• Give careful thought to what motivates and thrills you.
• Consider the demands society has made of you.
• Dismantle any patterns that are impeding your progress.
Thinking too much does not lead to clarity
It is the result of action.
I began by making tiny changes to the way I mentored students, tried my hand at creating content, offered free workshops, and eventually established CAPKUL as a platform for empowering young people via creativity and skill development.
💡How to Discover Your Purpose When It Seems Like You Have None:
I've included some lessons that have benefited me and may benefit you in True Spark, which is accessible on Amazon, Flipkart, and other platforms.
1. Begin by completing micro-reflections
When was the last time I felt alive, you ask? Why was I doing this? I was with whom?
During those times, your spark frequently disappears.
2. Rethink the Definition of Success
Your goal may not seem like a lucrative career or a viral social media video. It could be creating a useful product, sharing your thoughts, or just leading an authentic life.
3. Avoid chasing inspiration: Establish Habits.
You won't always experience "inspiration." However, when motivation wanes, discipline will keep you going.
4. Silence the commotion
There are too many opinions in the world. When all else is quiet, pay attention to your inner voice, which whispers.
5. Make Before You Eat
Create something that expresses rather than merely impresses, whether it be through writing, building, speaking, teaching, or painting.
🌟You are not broken. You're only developing.
I can say this with complete conviction: if you're feeling a little down after reading this,
You're not alone.
No, you're not late.
You are not lost.
You're just getting started on finding your True Spark.
My book True Spark: Gives You a New Birth contains all of the knowledge I've gained, from personal setbacks to game-changing discoveries, if you want to delve deeper. It can be found on Flipkart, Amazon, and other websites.
This book is a great place to start if you're starting from scratch or simply want to feel alive again.
Remain resilient.
Maintain your curiosity and, most importantly, your spark. 🔥
